TOOTHDOQ LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY, doing business as ToothDoQ ("ToothDoQ," "we," "our," or "us"), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our dental care platform and related services at toothdoq.com.
ToothDoQ is currently in an early-access launch: appointment booking and dentist discovery are opening area by area, and joining the waitlist reserves your place. We operate across the United States, except California and Washington for now. Waitlist signups share an email address, ZIP code, any interest you choose to add (like care for your family or a dental emergency), and referral activity.
As a dental healthcare platform, we may collect protected health information (PHI) such as appointment details, dental images you choose to upload, and treatment-related information, handled in accordance with HIPAA.
ToothDoQ is committed to HIPAA compliance. All PHI is handled according to HIPAA regulations, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and audit logging, and Business Associate Agreements with our service providers.
If you provide your mobile phone number and consent, ToothDoQ sends transactional text messages (SMS) related to your account, including appointment reminders and confirmations, payment confirmations, and account notifications.
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption, access controls, and continuous monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.
ToothDoQ is not directed to children. No one under 18 may create a ToothDoQ account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Family profiles. Parents and legal guardians can add child profiles to their own account to find and book dental care for their children. When you add a child profile, you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian. Child profile information is provided by you, stays inside your account, and is used only to help you find dentists who see children, book and manage your child's appointments, and, if you choose, prepare visit paperwork ahead of time.
What we store for a child profile: the name or nickname you choose, their birth year, and any health history you choose to add. Children's health information is encrypted at rest. We do not sell children's information, share it for advertising, or send marketing to children.
Your controls. You can edit or delete a child profile at any time from your account. Deletion removes the profile from our systems, except records we are required to keep for healthcare and legal record-keeping (for example, appointments already booked). If we ever learn we have collected personal information directly from a child under 13, we will delete it.
We honor access and deletion requests from anyone, regardless of the state you live in. Email privacy@toothdoq.com and we will respond.
